一、依據行政院人事行政總處 115 年 1 月 14 日總處給字第 1154000099 號函辦理。
二、有關本差額補助之相關事項，補充說明如下：
(一)發給方式：公教人員保險被保險人請領之生育給付金額未達新臺幣 10 萬元者，始得發給差額補助，其補助金額以 10 萬元扣除實際核給之公保生育給付金額計算，並原則上與生育給付合併發給。所稱合併發給，係由行政院人事行政總處委託臺灣銀行股份有限公司(以下簡稱臺銀公司)統一辦理核發事宜，被保險人無須另行提出申請。
(二)經費來源：公務預算係由行政院人事行政總處統籌編列預算。
(三)發給時點：本差額補助因屬納入「我國少子女化對策計畫 2.0 （ 115 年至 118 年）」之新增計畫，依預算法第 54 條規定，須俟本年度預算完成審議並可動支後始得支用，爰其發給時點區分處理：
１、於本年 1 月 1 日後至預算可動支前分娩或早產者，先由臺銀公司核發公保生育給付，俟預算可動支後再補發差額補助。
２、於預算可動支後分娩或早產者，則依公教人員保險生育給付差額補助要點第 5 點第 1 項規定辦理，由臺銀公司核發差額補助並與生育給付合併發給。
