主旨：非因公赴離島地區之公務人員，於假滿當日因天侯、機場等非人為所能掌控因素致無法如期返回臺灣本島地區工作崗位者，自即日得從寬比照原行政院人事行政局（以下簡稱原人事局） 88 年 7 月 5 日局考字第 016364 號函，以視同天然災害停止辦公處理，請查照。
說明：
一、依據行政院人事行政總處 105 年 12 月 20 日總處培字第 10500616051 號函辦理，檢附原函影本 1 份。
二、查旨揭原人事局 88 年 7 月 5 日函釋略以，為因應離島之特殊情況，避免影響公務人員至離島服務之意願，同意非因公赴臺之離島地區公務人員，於假滿當日因天侯、機場等非人為所能掌握因素致無法如期返回工作崗位者，得經當事人檢附相關證明文件後，由服務機關衡酌實際情形，以視同天然災害停止辦公處理。
三、前項函釋僅限臺灣本島返回離島上班，未及離島返回臺灣本島上班者，基於一致性之處理原則，旨述情形得從寬比照旨揭原人事局 88 年 7 月 5 日函，以視同天然災害停止辦公處理。
